British Airways is introducing no-cost quick onboard wifi through Starlink agreement
Passengers on the airline are set to access quick internet onboard at no cost after a major partnership with SpaceX's satellite firm.
No-cost plus Fast Wifi for All
The airline revealed that this free, “quick and reliable” internet service through the satellite provider is set to be accessible for passengers in economy, premium economy, or premium cabins as of the coming month.
Widespread Rollout Across Various Flight Operators
The umbrella organization for BA, IAG, stated it had reached an deal involving SpaceX to provide internet services on over 500 planes operated by its operators, which also include the Irish airline, Iberia, and Vueling.
Uninterrupted Internet from Boarding to Landing
The airline noted that this rollout for this system was part of a £7bn “upgrade” plan that will offer smooth connectivity coverage for passengers from the gate through arrival, including when in flight over oceans or isolated areas.

Current Wifi Options
