In a bizarre crossover event that challenges traditional expectations, Ubisoft has announced an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Mission Revealed
According to the official statement, "A strange confrontation leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where hints of banned rituals and monstrous transformations resonate through the shadows." The plot features a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a clandestine group.
The mission focuses on "strange trials and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Metamorphoses
The teaser showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a dramatic scene showing a character, probably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the quest will acquire an special katana alongside multiple artifacts hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
